Schools feature holiday concerts

'Tis the season for holiday concerts, and Gehlen Catholic and Le Mars Community Schools will offer a total of four concerts this December. The first concert will be presented by Gehlen elementary students at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9.

Broadway Playhouse Concerts To Spotlight Work of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and More

The fifth season of the Broadway Playhouse concert series, which introduces the world of musical theatre to children ages 4-11, will kick off Jan. 9, 2011, with a morning devoted to the work of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
